These were originally andirons but the back brace is missing on both of them so they could be used with a generic brace or as a hitching post. Research tells me these were made by Sheffield. 17" tall and 7" wide at the base. VERY heavy! I'm listing hundreds of items from my 20 year collection trying to downsize.
