This listing is for a 5' wide antique church pew like the one pictured. The listing price is for local pickup; See details later in the listing ii shipping is required.  The pew came from the St Johns United Methodist Church in the Queens district of New York City. The church was established in 1906 as a Lutheran Church where many of the large German immigrant population who lived in the area could meet for worship After a number of years, the building was sold to the Methodist denomination. The church was closed down and the building was sold to a developer and is is scheduled for demolition. As mentioned, the pew is 60" long and is made of quarter sawn oak. The end panels are 38 1/2" high and the pew will extend out from the wall 24". The seat depth is 15" and is the seat height is 17" from the floor. It is very sturdy and will serve its new owner well.
I took a picture of the church when I picked up the pews and will include a copy of that picture as well as a picture of the sanctuary interior with the pews in place.
